Past Pryces Bridge (No.84).



Just through Pryces Bridge

a restored section comes into view.


This is not yet ready for boats.

Continuing along the tow-path,

  below  the Lloyds Mill.


This is in water but not yet ready for boats.

The end of the restored section.  


A temporary dam has been

made to hold water back

whilst restoration continues

along the original path of

the canal bed .

Continuing past Lloyds Mill.


The bed has been shaped and brought up to its correct height ready for covering

with the concrete blocks that protect it .

Continuing along the path towards Crickheath, we can see the newt

 barriers surrounding the area ready for restoration work to be continued.

We then come to another clay barrier.


This barrier has been built to hold water in the newly restored section at Crickheath.
